My day is just getting started but I feel like I have already ran a marathon. This morning I accomplished more than most people do all day.

My first goal today was to find out more about how to apply for PR in Singapore, which I accomplished. After living here for a while I think it would be advantageous for me to get PR (if I can) so that I can get a retirement account and maybe even buy a place. I like to set goals for myself then meet them as it makes me feel good about myself. I did that recently with my weight loss regiment and am highly pleased with my results. I have gone down 3 pant sizes in 3 months which in my book is pretty good. I have the worst genetics when it comes to my body size so I have to work hard to keep my figure if you know what I mean. I am not one of those guys that can eat anything under the sun and be all fit and healthy in their lives. I have to fight tooth and nail to just maintain my current weight.

Anyways as I was saying I did a lot of things this morning besides that. I also finalized plans with my Aunt Jorie about next weekend. She invited me to go on a trip with her and her family and I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to make it or not because of my work schedule. It turns out that I will be able to go and that made me happy. Out of all of my family my Aunt Jorie is the one I like the most. She always makes me laugh and her two kids which are my niece and nephew are fun to be around to. I don’t really know her husband Tom all that well but he is nice enough that I won’t complain about him.

Tomorrow is another day I’m looking forward to as I’m meeting up with my old roommate Marie at lunch. I haven’t seen that girl in like 2 years so it will be both fun and weird seeing her again. She moved away for her job and I haven’t seen her since. I guess she’s in town to visit her folks and called me out of the blue to see if I was still around. I am sure glad she called as it will be nice catching up with her. I know we were just roommates but I always felt like she was more than that. She was really easy to talk to so I can’t wait to see her.
